Acupressure
Acupressure
Acupressure is an ancient healing art that uses the fingers or any blunted objects to press key points called as ‘Acu Points’ (Energy stored points) on the surface rhythmically on the skin to stimulate the body’s natural self-curative abilities.
When these points are pressed, they release muscular tension and promote the circulation of blood.
BENEFITS:
1.Induces relaxation and restores balance.
2.It improves blood circulation, lowers muscle tension and endorphin simulation.
3.Stimulates the circulatory and lymphatic system.
The therapeutic touch stimulates certain chemicals in the brain that boost the immune system to lift depression and relieve stress.

ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture is the treatment of various diseases carried out by inserting very fine needles into the specific points of the body. Insertions take place on the surface of the body through the skin, which, theoretically, have the ability to alter various biochemical and physiological conditions in order to achieve the desired effect.
👉How does it work?
According to traditional Chinese medicine explains that health is the result of a harmonious balance of the complementary extremes of “yin” and “yang” of the life force known as “qi,” pronounced “chi.” Illness is said to be the consequence of an imbalance of the forces.
Qi is said to flow through meridians, or pathways, in the human body.
These meridiens and energy flows are accessible through 350 acupuncture points in the body.
Inserting needles into these points with appropriate combinations is said to bring the energy flow back into proper balance.
Some experts have used neuroscience to explain acupuncture. Acupuncture points are seen as places where nerves, muscles, and connective tissue can be stimulated. The stimulation increases blood flow, while at the same time triggering the activity of the body’s natural painkillers.

Diet Therapy
Let Food Be Thy Medicine And Medicine Be Thy Food.

Diet is classified differently in Naturopathy than modern medicine. In Naturopathy, diet is classified as acidic or alkaline, live or dead foods, and more emphasis is placed on consuming raw foods over cooked foods.
Naturopathy believes chronic disease results from toxins in the body due to low vitality and impaired digestion and metabolism from consuming processed, devitalized foods, making diet a key factor in health and disease.
Types of Naturopathic Diets:

in disease.

2.Purgation (VIRECHANA),
3.Medicated enemas (BASTI)
4.Medicated nasal oils (NASYA)
5.Toxic bloodletting (RAKTAMOKSHAN)
THE PROCESS OF PANCHAKARMA CONSISTS OF
1.POORVA KARMA (PRE PROCEDURE)
This is the preparatory procedure required before the main procedure to enable a person to receive the full benefits of the main treatment.
It consists of two main processes – Snehan (oleation) and Swedan (fomentation).
Snehan
Snehan is an oil massage. Oil is applied to the entire body with a particular type of massage that helps the toxins to move toward the gastrointestinal tract.Oil massage also makes the superficial and deep tissues soft and supple, thus helping to remove stress and nourish the nervous system. Snehan is given daily for three to seven days, as indicated.
SVEDANA
SVEDANA is sudation or sweating and is given every day immediately following the snehan. An herbal concoction may be added to the steam to further loosen the toxins from the individual. Svedana liquefies the toxins and increases the movement of toxins into the gastrointestinal tract.
After three to seven days of snehan and svedana, the doshas become well “ripened.” A particular panchakarma method is then given according to the individual’s constitution and disorder, prakriti and vikruti, respectively.
2.Pradhan Karma (operative procedure)
On completion of the Pre procedure it is decided which of these are to be done depending upon the proximity of the waste. An increased level of upper respiratory tract waste shall call for Vamana. Similarly, a lower gastro accumulation of waste calls for a Virechanam.
Paschaat Karma ( The post-PROCEDURE)
Dietary regimen to restore the body’s digestive and absorptive capacity to its normal state.

Cooled mud is poured into a cloth strip and made into a bandage. This is placed over the affected area of the body, and covered with a protective material such as flannel. For adults, the mud pack can be around 20 X 10 X 2.5 cm in dimensions. The dimensions of the mud treatment cloth should vary on the basis of the patients needs. The body region that is to be treated thus has to be fomented at first for around 5 or 10 minutes until it is heated up well enough. It is then that mud is directly applied over the affected area for 5 – 15 minutes, based on the response that is needed.

NATUROPATHY
The term ‘naturopathy’ is derived partly from a Latin word, ‘natura’, and a Greek word, ‘pathos’, suggesting natural healing for all sufferings. The treatment of any health disorder in this system will be with or through nature. No drug is use.
Naturopathic medicine is a system that uses natural remedies to help the body heal itself., being unnatural and manmade.
A naturopath begins with a patient’s consultation focusing on lifestyle, medical history, body language and emotional state as well as a physical examination. Doctors here will not prescribe drugs, but if one is using already, considering the health condition of the patient, doctors may help taper down the doses gradually and will integrate other conventional medical approaches such as acupuncture, physiotherapy, diet and lifestyle counselling with naturopathic treatments. Counselling includes making patients aware of the cause of illness.
